We have a local guy who grows Turmeric using organic practices. We take his Turmeric and juice it.

With the remaining pulp, we dehydrate it, and grind it into a fine powder for your use in recipes, as a supplement, or whatever use you can find for this “gold” anti-inflammatory food!

A cobbler is a dish consisting of fruit poured into a large baking dish and covered with batter before being baked. In the South, cobblers tend to resemble a thick-crusted, deep-dish pie. They are rich and glorious, but they do not have to be unhealthy! Our cobbler baking mixes — in both peach and blackberry varieties — make it easy to prepare this delicious, sweet dish with a healthy impact.

I created this product when I went “Vegan” to heal my body. I knew I needed protein but when I looked at Protein Powders, there were ingredients I couldn’t pronounce. Which was defeating the very purpose of healing that I was set out to do.

Nourished in 5 is simply 5 organic, raw seeds: Sunflower, Pumpkin, Quinoa, Chia, and Hemp. We blend into a “meal.” There’s a scoop in each bag. One scoop equals 5 grams of protein. We throw it in smoothies, muffins, pancakes, etc. Anything to bump up the protein and we know it’s truly the cleanest plant protein blend out there.

Soft red wheat flour is a low to medium protein wheat with soft endosperm used to make cake flour, pastry flour and some self-rising flours (with baking powder and salt added). Our soft, red wheat is grown, by our family, in Bleckley County, Ga. After harvest, we take the whole wheat berries, put them in our commercial mill, and grind them between 2 stones, producing “virgin” whole-wheat flour. This flour is equivalent to an All-Purpose flour. When you use our flour for your food, this is as close to a wheat field as you can get without growing it yourself! It’s what we do, provide Nutrition from the Source!

Nourished in 5 is a clean and simple way to get more plant products and protein into your diet. It is a plant-based protein blend that can be added to almost everything you eat from smoothies to cookies to black bean burger patties. We mill the raw seeds in small batches to stay as close to the source of nutrition as possible.

The Power of Seeds:

  • Sunflower Seeds: These underrated “super seeds” are an excellent source of B vitamins, including folate (which helps prevent birth defects), and vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from damage, helps maintain healthy hair and skin, and may work to prevent cancer. They are also rich in protein and heart-healthy fats.

  • Pumpkin Seeds: Also known as pepitas, these super seeds are a source of B vitamins, iron, magnesium, zinc, and protein, and are particularly rich in the amino acid tryptophan, which may help lower anxiety. Pumpkin seeds also have high levels of essential fatty acids that help keep blood vessels healthy and lower bad cholesterol.

  • Quinoa: It is gluten-free, high in protein and one of the few plant foods that contain all nine essential amino acids making it a complete protein. It is also high in fiber, magnesium, B-vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and various antioxidants.
