Soft Red Wheat Flour


Soft red wheat flour is a low to medium protein wheat (11%) used just like All-Purpose flour.

Our soft, red wheat is grown, by our family, in Bleckley County, Ga. After harvest, we take the whole wheat berries, drive 1-1/2 hours to Junction City for Fielder’s Mill to grind into flour. Their process for grinding is to lift the gate to their pond so the water rushes and turns the turbine which moves the 4 foot stone mill into motion. This produces “virgin” whole-wheat flour. When you use our flour for your food, this is as close to a wheat field as you can get without growing it yourself! It’s what we do, provide Nutrition from the Source!
