Zoodle Baked Spaghetti-featuring our Italian organic seasoning

What you need:

  • 8×8 pan

  • Large skillet

  • 1 tsp quality oil

  • 1/2 onion, chopped

  • 1# grass-fed beef

  • 2 tsp Back to the BASICS 101 Italian Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt

  • organic jar of pizza sauce

  • garlic clove

  • 12 oz organic mozzarella

  • 4 zucchini

  • Back to the BASICS 101 Italian Seasoning

Directions:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sautee onion. Add ground beef, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt; cook and stir until beef is lightly browned.

  • Stir pasta sauce into the beef mixture; press garlic into sauce; cook and stir until sauce is warm through.

  • Cut zucchini into “zoodles” using spiralizer or vegetable peeler.

  • Layer zoodles, sauce, and cheese 2-3 times. So divide the ingredients thoughtfully as you make layers.

  • To begin, lay zucchini noodles on the bottom of the pan; sprinkle Italian seasoning over zucchini. Cover noodles with beef sauce. Sprinkle cheese over the sauce. Repeat until ingredients are gone.

  • Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes or until heated through. We like to broil at the end of baking to brown the cheese.
